Portfolio Snapshot
The AnthroSync System© (patent pending) IS the new standard in anthropometric data collection. Introducing the next evolution in precise human body measurement: the AnthroSync Digital Anthropometer. Designed for professionals who demand accuracy and efficiency, our digital anthropometer delivers measurements precise to 1/10th of a millimeter. Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) capability and advanced companion software make the AnthroSync System the new standard in anthropometric data collection. Embrace the future of anthropometry with a tool that delivers unparalleled accuracy and convenience. Whether you’re a researcher, designer, or healthcare professional, our digital anthropometer is the ultimate solution for your precise measurement needs.
DIG’s Jefferson Deep Learning Anthropometric Model (patent pending) pushes the boundaries of digital anthropometry. Using machine learning to correlate and predict body measurements with unparalleled accuracy, Jefferson refines its estimates based on datasets like ANSUR I & II and CAESAR, making it a game-changer in anthropometric analysis.
Our Software Engineers are reshaping STEM education through an Interactive Digital Media called STEMtv. STEMtv is a dynamic collection of biomedical-themed games designed for students aged 12-18. Partnering with the National Education Association, STEMtv blends retro aesthetics with cutting-edge learning experiences, inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals.
The Volta Kit is being developed by our Electrical Engineering team. The Volta Kit provides an engaging and hands-on platform for teaching electrical engineering principles to pre-college students. Designed to make complex concepts like Ohm’s Law, Kirchhoff’s Law, and basic circuit design accessible, it combines interactive hardware components with comprehensive lesson plans. Volta Kit aims to close the gap and foster a deeper interest in engineering disciplines.
The DIG is making Biomedical Engineering Advancements by partnering with Premier Health and Wright State University Medical College, to develop a multi-modal imaging system for Pressure Ulcer detection, burn injury assessment, and skin anomaly quantification. This system promises to revolutionize how healthcare professionals assess and treat complex skin conditions.
Pressure ulcers (PrUs) detection: This Phase I research aims to develop an AI-driven system using Vision Language Models (VLMs) to accurately assess and monitor PrU progression. HIPAA compliance and EPIC integration will improve clinical decision-making, patient outcomes, and healthcare efficiency. This project could lay the groundwork for broader AI applications in medical imaging and multi-modal integration in Phase II, transforming PrU management globally.
Compliance Verification Device (CVD) prototype: Construction workers face persistent safety risks due to hazardous environmental conditions. Head injuries can be significantly reduced with the implementation of the Compliance Verification Device (CVD). This innovative tool encourages employee compliance while enabling employers to monitor usage and track critical environmental and occupational factors that impact worker safety, health, and well-being. Its real-time monitoring and feedback capabilities enhance worker safety and compliance but also provide employers and insurance stakeholders with valuable insights.
Comprehensive Solutions: Software & Embedded Hardware Development
Beyond our specialized projects, DIG offers full-spectrum services in commercial software development and embedded hardware design, ensuring customized solutions that meet the most demanding requirements. These advancements include our Windows Resource for Anthropometric Data-Collection (WRAD-C) is an advanced anthropometric data collection tool that ensures accuracy through dynamic input validation, provides detailed measurement definitions, and allows users to create custom data collection forms. It standardizes data entry while offering real-time guidance, making it easier to collect reliable anthropometric measurements. The software generates structured Excel output, ensuring seamless integration with analytical tools and databases.
